For the position of Research Assistant I, we are looking for highly motivated recent college graduates who are interested in working in neuroscience research. The researcher will use experimental and computational methods to participate in research aimed at understanding the nervous system's development and function.


The PiNBAC program will have Research Assistants as part of it. The Harvard Program in Neuroscience Post-Baccalaureate (PiNBAC) program is a preparation program for ongoing school graduates keen on applying to PhD programs in the neurosciences. 

PiNBAC, which will go live in 2020, provides assistance with graduate applications, individualized professional development, and a longitudinal science curriculum.

 The general mission of PiNBAC is to get ready capable learners from underrepresented populaces in STEM to proceed with their preparation in graduate school effectively.


In addition to this extensive hands-on research experience, additional mentorship and community-building activities are included in the curriculum to enhance research training.



Work is connected to research in the following areas: 

Participation in the curriculum includes attending dedicated meetings and advisory meetings. Taken care of Time: 

12 accrued sick days per year, 12.5 holidays plus a Winter Recess in December/January, 3 personal days per year (prorated based on date of hire), and up to 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents who are the primary caregivers are all part of the benefits. Support staff receive three weeks of vacation time per year and administrative/professional staff receive four weeks.
